Beth Holloway is a Huddersfield-based music producer, composer, singer, songwriter, DJ and events curator. Here is a brief biog of Beth's musical life and work so far:

I have always been creative, from a young age. Whether it be singing, dancing, playing instruments, writing songs or performing in choirs and bands. I was lucky enough to grow up in a very musical family where I was surrounded by talented and inspirational musicians. They always pushed me and encouraged me to pursue music and explore my creativity. Having a creative outlet of some kind has always been important to me - for self expression, releasing and coming to terms with my emotions and most importantly for fun and enjoyment.

I have always pursued the arts, specifically music and I was encouraged to study music all throughout my education. I recently completed my bachelors degree in creative music production and I am currently in the process of completing a masters as well.

With the help of Yorkshire Youth and Music... I’ve begun leading and facilitating workshops that equip aspiring producers and DJs with the skills they need to hopefully turn their hobbies and passions into something more.

My producer journey started around 8 years ago and since then I have had some incredible opportunities to compose for and perform my music at festivals and I’ve also have had my music played on TV. Five years ago, I also started exploring DJing. During my time living in Huddersfield, I’ve had the chance to organise my own music events and raves. I’ve also DJ’d at festivals and club nights across the UK. I make and DJ many different genres of music and I love exploring and learning about new styles and sounds.

With the help of Yorkshire Youth and Music, I have also recently started exploring the world of teaching. I’ve begun leading and facilitating workshops that equip aspiring producers and DJs with the skills they need to hopefully turn their hobbies and passions into something more.
