We work in partnership with other organisations, including the music education hubs and hub leads, to provide for young people who may experience barriers into the kinds of music education outlined in the Government's plan: View the National Music Education Plan here > View the announcement for a new National Plan here > Following the recommendations of the 2011 National Plan for Music Education (above), Music Education Hubs were established across England in 2012. What is a Music Education Hub? A Music Education Hub is a group of organisations and partners in a particular local area who are passionate about offering and delivering high quality music education to all children in their region, whatever their circumstances. The lead organisation for a Music Education Hub is responsible for delivering a music education programme that is available to all children in their area, and is often the first port of call for young people wishing to engage in musical activities.
