Calling all DJs, rappers and urban musicians!

Posted on January 16th, by Rebeka in Jobs, Training, YYM News. No Comments

Yorkshire Youth and Music is looking for DJs, rappers and urban musicians who are interested in becoming workshop facilitators in West and South Yorkshire.

Many of the organisations across the region who work with Children and Young People in Challenging Circumstances have told us that they find it difficult to find good musicians who have the skills and understanding to work with these young people on their projects.

In response, we’re establishing a training programme with our partners to give YOU the skills to become knowledgeable workshop leaders. You’ll need to attend four or five full training days over six months. In addition to this, we will provide the opportunity to put your new found skills into practice in a supported placement at one of our partner organisations.

There will be paid work opportunities for those who successfully complete the training.
